Greetings from the Lakefront Porch Team!
We are writing to share our gratitude for the generous response of the community to our requests for support of the Lakefront Porch. Thanks to you we have earned the $10,000 match recently offered by the Madison Community Foundation. Donations large and small have brought us ever closer to the goal.
Our website has been updated with the most recent list of our friends and neighbors who have contributed to the project. Please visit https://www.lakefrontporch.org/donors to see the names of individuals and businesses who have helped to realize this vision - perhaps you will find your own name there as well! (If you have donated any amount but you do not see your name on the website, we apologize. Please reply to this message and let us know so that we can add your name.)

At its August meeting, the Common Council gave the final approvals needed for contracts to be signed and construction to begin. Construction materials can now be ordered, and work can begin. We look forward to sending updates on construction. Watch for activity at Crowley Station this fall!
